In this joint presentation by Inverto and Ferrero, we will explore the rapidly evolving European ESG regulatory framework and its concrete implications for multinational businesses. With a focus on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), we will illustrate how Ferrero is proactively adapting its supply chain, procurement strategies, and reporting practices to meet new compliance requirements. Participants will gain insights into the operational challenges and solutions adopted, including supplier engagement, risk assessment, and audit processes, as well as Ferrero’s roadmap towards full CSRD alignment. This session offers a real-world perspective on implementing ESG compliance in a complex global value chain.
