Mark Baxa

Mark Baxa is President and CEO of CSCMP, where he has served for 24 years, including as Chairman of the Board. With 40 years of supply chain leadership, he has led teams across sales, logistics, procurement, sustainability, and strategy. He actively shapes global supply chain policy, teaches executive courses, and serves on advisory boards, including St. Louis University’s Center for Supply Chain Excellence. A strong advocate for diversity in supply chains, he has served on the WEConnect International board. In 2018, he was honored as a DC Velocity Rainmaker for his contributions to the field.

Deborah Dull

Deborah Dull is the founder of the Circular Supply Chain Network and Managing Partner of Trillium Digital Services. She authored "Circular Supply Chains: 17 Common Questions" and “Sustainable Supply Chains: Unlearning for a Better Tomorrow,” with a third book on circular supply chains forthcoming in June. With experience at Zero100, GE Digital, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Genpact, and Microsoft, Deborah specializes in AI-driven supply chain innovation, self-driving supply chains, advanced analytics, and responsible business practices. She is a sought-after speaker and has been published in numerous industry publications. Deborah holds a BA in Supply Chain & Operations Management from Western Washington University and an MSc from the University of Liverpool, where her thesis focused on digital supply chain. She is currently pursuing her DBA from Heriot-Watt University.

Bart De Muynck is an Industry Expert and Thought Leader with over 30 years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience. Bart has worked for major international companies such as EY, GE Capital, Penske Logistics, PepsiCo as well as several Tech companies. Bart spent 8 years as a VP of Research at Gartner and served as the Chief Industry Officer at project44. Bart is a sought-after speaker who is currently advising multiple companies and industry organizations in Logistics. Bart is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council, SCLA, ASCM and CSCMP's Executive Inner Circle.

Pietro Gorlier

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Pietro Gorlier was appointed Comau Chief Executive Officer in April 2022. With a professional background that spans over 30 years, Mr. Gorlier was Global Chief Parts and Services Officer at Stellantis, prior to this new appointment. He has also held several other managerial roles with increasing responsibility, serving as President & CEO of MOPAR, CEO of Magneti Marelli and Chief Operating Officer of the Region EMEA at FCA and member of FCA Global Executive Council. He previously held senior positions in Distribution, Customer Services and Parts & Logistics at Fiat, Case New Holland (CNH) and Iveco. Mr. Gorlier was born in Turin, Italy, where he graduated with a degree in Business and Economics.

Omera Khan

Global Head of Strategy and Planning

Omera Khan PhD is an experienced practitioner and educator in logistics and supply chain management and has gained international recognition for her research and thought leadership in supply chain risk and resilience. Inspiring and visionary, Omera is skilled at presenting complex subjects in a simple and thought-provoking manner and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker and panellist at global conferences and corporate events. She brings over 20 years’ experience working on supply chain trends, insights and foresights to clients that span multiple industry sectors.

Following an academic career spanning over two decades, she joined Maersk as Head of Supply Chain Insights and Trends Lab, and then to her current position as Global Head of Strategy and Planning at AP Møller Maersk. Prior, to joining Maersk, Omera was Professor of Supply Chain Management and Director of the MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Royal Holloway University of London (UK). She has led numerous research projects, commissioned by government agencies, research councils and companies. Her research is published in several peer reviewed journals, book chapters, whitepapers and she is author of the “Handbook for Supply Chain Risk Management: Case Studies, Effective Practices and Emerging Trend,” “Product Design and the Supply Chain – Competing through Design,” “Re-conceptualizing Supply Chain Risk Management in a Post-Pandemic World – Creating Global Resilience.”

Omera was awarded her PhD from Alliance Manchester Business School, UK. An MPhil from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Textile Design from the University of Huddersfield where she was awarded first prize for the Cloth Workers Foundation Award. Omera began her academic career at the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Cranfield University. Following her post-doc years at Cranfield University, she joined the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She then joined Hull University Business School where she held the positions of Senior Lecturer, Director of the Logistics Institute and Deputy Head of the Management Systems Group. Omera’s career continued in Denmark, as a Professor of Operations Management at Denmark Technical University (DTU) and she has held several adjunct Professor positions in the Nordics.

Omera is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. She has served as a steering committee member of the Institute of Logistics Research Network, a global network of academics and practitioners involved in state-of-the-art logistics and supply chain research, and she was appointed a board member of the executive committee of the CILT “Leaders in Supply Chain” Forum, a group limited to the top 120 Logistics and Supply Chain Directors from Europe.

Abel Martínez (Barcelona, 1971) is the Global Supply Chain Director for JDE Peet’s. JDE Peet’s is the biggest pure play company in coffee market globally, with leading brands like L’Or, Senseo, Douwe Egberts, Tassimo and Jacobs. He is Industrial Engineer and bachelor in Business Administration and Management. Abel has 28 years experience in Manufacturing and Operations in companies like Procter & Gamble, Sara Lee and now JDE Peet’s, growing from plant manager roles in different countries to global roles in Operational Excellence, Engineering, Supply Chain and regional Operations.

Donna Palumbo Miele

Dr. Donna Palumbo is the Executive Director for the Center for Supply Chain Research at Penn State University where she is responsible for creation and dissemination of new knowledge in supply chain management focused on four pillars: research, networking, talent development, and benchmarking. Her role includes impactful and purposeful collaboration with university scholars and fostering relationships with corporate supporters. She is an award-winning and influential thought leader with cross sector experience in technology, consumer products, entertainment, hospitality, and healthcare, has a bias for action, and offers decisive guidance to C-level executives. Her expertise and focus areas are strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and supply chain resiliency.

As the founder and managing director of Concordia Supply Chain Group, she provides consulting and advisory services and has become an instrumental business partner for both public and private sector clients and has supported multiple nonprofits organizations. Prior to joining Penn State, she held leaderships positions at EY, Bloomberg L.P., and Johnson & Johnson after a 15-year tenure at The Walt Disney Company.

Donna serves as the board chair of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and has served various organizations including as board director and finance committee member for the Women's Forum of New York and former advisory board member of the University of Tampa’s Lowth Entrepreneurship Center. Further, Donna has been recognized for her outstanding industry achievements, receiving multiple honors and awards including the 2023 recipient of The University of Tampa Alumni Achievement Award.

Massimo Tammaro

Speaking about himself, Massimo Tammaro describes a "lucky" person, who with great passion and sacrifice has managed to make his dreams come true. Italian Air Force Pilot, wingman, then Leader, finally Commander of the Frecce Tricolori. From 2011 to 2017 he worked for Ferrari, first in the F1 Team, then in the HR Department, finally becoming the Corporate Risk Manager. He is now CEO of a company in the aerospace sector, Capstone Project Director of TRIUM Global Executive MBA and member of Committees and Boards of Directors in important companies.

Maria Jesus Saenz

Dr. Maria Jesus Saenz is the Director of the Digital Supply Chain Transformation Lab at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. The primary research examines new collaborative paradigms that arise while implementing new digital technologies like AI in supply chains. The Lab applies quantitative research methodologies in order to assess how data-driven ecosystems create value. Dr. Saenz also serves as the Executive Director of the MIT Supply Chain Management Master Program, an influential MIT degree that allows learners innovative educational paths in the supply chain domain, embracing the MIT experience.

With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Saenz has also led various international research projects for the European Commission, as well as for companies such as Coca-Cola Femsa, Mondelez, P&G, Carrefour, Dell, J&J and DHL. She has received 17 international awards and is co-author of more than 100 publications, including Harvard Business Review, WSJ, MIT Sloan Management Review, Forbes, Financial Times Press or Supply Chain Management Review.
