Sailing the complexity: MAIRE antifragile framework for supply chain

MAIRE: DRIVING THE ENERGY TRANSITION AND LEVERAGING ON SCALABLE, DIGITAL, AND SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICS

Maire is a leading technology and engineering group committed to advancing the Energy Transition. The Group delivers Integrated E&C Solutions for the downstream market and Sustainable Technology Solutions through three business lines: Sustainable Fertilizers, Low-Carbon Energy Vectors, and Circular Solutions. Operating in over 50 countries and employing nearly 10,000 people, Maire moves more than 7 million freight tons globally each year. Over the past five years, Maire has more than doubled its revenues and is targeting continued double-digit growth. To support this ambition, logistics and transport management have been identified as critical levers for competitiveness. In response, Maire has adopted a new operational model that is scalable, digital, and environmentally sustainable.

TRANSPORT CONTROL TOWER: A FRAMEWORK FOR DIGITAL COLLABORATION

Since 2023, through a strategic partnership with TESISQUARE and Accenture, Maire has launched a new Transport Control Tower. This initiative reimagines both operations and technology, evolving into a digital collaboration hub that connects vendors, logistics providers, and transporters. The result is a flexible, real-time ecosystem that virtually eliminates communication delays-an essential capability in today’s globally disrupted freight environment.

SCALING FOR INNOVATION: AI AS A STRATEGIC ENABLER

By integrating with major logistics providers and leveraging advanced digital tools and AI, the Control Tower now orchestrates transport for Maire’s most complex projects. It ensures cost efficiency while embedding sustainability across the entire transport value chain. Currently managing over 7 major projects, the AI engine optimizes vehicle utilization, significantly reducing both costs and carbon emissions. Maire’s roadmap includes enhancing AI capabilities and deploying digital agents to support operators. These advancements will enable the Control Tower to scale globally, positioning it as a strategic asset in achieving Maire’s ambitious growth objectives.
